Shire engineering responsive website

The agency Ballyhoo got in touch with a brief to design a responsive website for their client Shire Consulting Ltd who wanted to improve their online presence in order to better demonstrate their expertise and innovation.

With regards to the site structure, that had already been planned. Additionally the branding was not changing but their guidelines had recently been given a slight tweak including new accessible colour scheme and new fonts.

From here I was able to take it in to Sketch and build up the pages based on the UX and create consistent accessible interations and font styling.

The main challenge was that due to the business sector of structural engineering not lending itself to exciting or engaging imagery, the styling around the imagery had to be unique to frame the content in a bold and bright manner. From here the rest of the content could be kept in a clean and modern page with pull out quotes and product carousels.
