Hired by Ear To The Ground back in 2015 to put together a brand guidelines for one of their clients; the drinks brand Alizé.
Alizé were going through an uplift in their brand image and messaging and wanted to really build on their history in the hip hop scene, specifically in the 90’s with Tupac and other rap artists highlighting it in their tracks.
Much of the tone of voice and styling had already developed to a reasonable level when I arrived, meaning that my first task was to take this and create further promotional material including POS and trifold brochures.
Once the developed brand was finalised with the client, I was tasked with developing the in depth brand guidelines that gave detailed information on the brand style, imagery, tone of voice and use of fonts and colour, as well as detailed step by step guides around creating the black and white imagery with filters, masking and isolated colours.
Working closely with the Creative Director and Copywriter, we were able to sketch out the document structure, content, and layout of each page, meaning I could go ahead and create further assets and finalise the document.
